International Nurses Day 2025
Get involved with our ‘Selfie with Florence’ and ‘Dance with Florence’ Campaigns
To celebrate International Nurses Day and our app launch, we’re running special campaigns — and we want YOU to be front and centre! Together, let’s flood social media with the faces of modern nursing. You can be involved by posting a photo or a video, see below for instructions.
‘Selfie with Florence’: How to get involved - Instagram, Facebook and/or LinkedIn:
1. Take your photo: Click below and choose your background. Options include Florence-branded backgrounds OR take a fun selfie with Florence Nightingale (in full birthday mode!)
2. Download your photo: Please note you may need to move the image from your downloads to your 'camera roll'.
3. Share it on your socials PLUS challenge three nursing friends to take part:

‘Dance with Florence’: How to get involved - TikTok and share to your other platforms
1. Download dancing Florence: Click below to access the dancing Florence video background and download it to your phone. Please note you may need to move the video from your downloads to your 'camera roll'.
2. Open your TikTok app, click + to create, and toggle on your ‘green screen’ mode to ‘on’. If you cannot find green screen mode on the create screen, make sure you're in video mode and then swipe across until 'view all effects' appears and then search 'green screen video'.
3. Add dancing Florence behind you by selecting it from your camera roll.
4. Record and show us your best dance moves! Have some fun with it!
5. Once captured, add music and click ‘next’
6. Add a description and tag three nurses to nominate them to also dance with Florence (you can use one of the example posts above). Don’t forget to add the URL www.florence.today/IND so others can get involved and @Florence.Today
7. Feel free to share it to your other social media profiles.
